Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Alone Covid 19. The Alone Covid 19 will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Alone Covid 19.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

The Alone Covid 19 will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

The Alone Covid 19 will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Alone Covid 19.

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Alone Covid 19.

The Alone Covid 19 will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Alone Covid 19.

The Alone Covid 19 will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Alone Covid 19 will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

The Alone Covid 19 will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Alone Covid 19.

Projects

Galaxy Foundation Ltd was established in the UK on 27 February 2023, to make quality education accessible to all children, regardless of their socio-economic background. Founded under Galaxy Foundation Ltd, Galaxy Gurukul is a not-for-profit school that provides completely free, high-quality education to underprivileged children.

Established with the vision of providing education for all, we currently support 250+ students, not just academically, but also with uniforms, nutrition, life skills, cultural activities, and community awareness programs

The first project of the humanitarian arm of the Galaxy Foundation is Galaxy Gurukul, a school established in Kolkata, India, in mid-2023. The lease agreement for the school was signed in March 2023, and Galaxy Gurukul officially opened on 9th April 2023. The first academic session began on 12th June 2023.

Today, the school stands as a vibrant centre of learning, with a dedicated team of lady teachers nurturing young minds. It’s heartwarming to see the little boys and girls playing, learning, and building beautiful bonds with their teachers. Admissions have now crossed 250 students in 2025 and continue to grow steadily.

Education is the way to make learning fun for children, while education provides the strength to break the vicious cycle of poverty & illiteracy.

Starting with the strength of 76, we aim to provide the right to education (enrollment) to over 600 children finally.

Wellness

Health and wellness enable children to continue their education with gusto and helps them complete the said education successfully & robustly.

Galaxy Gurukul provides the students with school uniforms, books, balanced nutrition, health check-ups and counselling, apart from lessons.

Empowering Women

Teachers are models for future generations. They have power to inspire, educate and empower young students to achieve their full potential.

With women constituting 90% of Gurukul’s teachers’, they spread knowledge and inspire young buds to pursue true education.

Philanthropy

Galaxy Gurukul believes that every child deserves a bright educated future. So they raise funds through various creative and engaging campaigns.

The EBC Trek charity challenge, the Mt Snowdon fundraiser, climbing Mt Everest on a stair-climber are charity campaign initiatives.

The motivation to give back to the community where it all began

Born into poverty in Kolkata, Vikash Jayaswal’s academic prowess led him to become a Chartered Accountant. He married Madhurita, sharing a dream to provide quality education for underprivileged children. They migrated to the UK, establishing a successful property investment firm, Galaxy of Homes (GOH). Yet, their passion for education persisted. Their inspiring journey, from rags to riches, drives them to create a charity-based school, believing in every child’s right to a quality education. Their mission begins with GOH’s humanitarian arm, followed by the school.
